Scott's life condensed for your reading pleasure.
(TLDR at bottom for the especially impatient.)
Hi. My name is Scott Christopher Noble. But you can call me "Nobes." That's been my nickname for as long as I can remember. I have double-jointed thumbs, and am a Virgo (this line works like magic on the dating apps.)
When I was growing up in Westport, Connecticut (cue the eye roll) I had no idea what I was going to do with my life, other than ride my Big Wheel professionally. But when I got a little older I read Tolstoy’s “War and Peace,” and it changed everything for me. About 16 pages into the masterwork, I realized I never wanted to read or write anything so meandering and long-winded ever again. Advertising served this purpose perfectly. In 1998 - after stints at several other small agencies-I found my creative home at Hill Holliday. In the 20 years since, I worked on virtually every client at the agency, ran new business pitches, and rose in the ranks from a jr. copywriter to SVP Creative Director. I won awards (One show, CA, Cannes Short List (Radio), Clio Finalist, Hatch, MediaPost OMMA). I won new business. And I won over some of the most stubborn of clients.
Then I went client side (gasp!) to Aetna, the health insurance giant based out of CT. I worked in Wellesley, MA office before the pandemic and then virtually from my current home in Windham, VT, with my partner, two dogs, two cats and 6 million trees.
I am a devoted music fan, particularly obsessed with Bruce Springsteen, Phish and Pantera (go figure). But I love all music. I can't get enough.
In my spare time I like to eat, walk my dogs, cook, watch Jaws on repeat, ski, eat some more, listen to music as I drive, and continue eating.
But enough of my yakkin'.... (if you know that movie reference, we're gonna be besties)
TLDR
• I grew up in an eye-rollingly privileged town in CT
• I worked at Hill Holliday, for 20 years. Client list includes: Dunkin' Donuts, Cadillac, John Hancock, Liberty Mutual, Anheuser Busch, Bank of America among many others.
• Awards: One show, Communication Arts, Cannes Short List (Radio), Clio Finalist, Hatch, MediaPost OMMA digital.
• I love listening to music, 80's comedies, skiing, and cooking.
