The brain (and person) behind the brand
Scott Noble is a creative director and writer with more than 30 years of experience building brands and leading teams. But that's only part of the story.
I grew up in Westport, Connecticut (cue the eye roll) and eventually found my way into advertising. In 1998—after a few stops at smaller agencies—I landed at Hill Holliday, where I spent nearly two decades rising from junior copywriter to SVP / Group Creative Director.
Along the way I worked on just about every major client at the agency, ran new business pitches, and helped build campaigns for brands including Liberty Mutual, Cadillac, Dunkin’, and Anheuser-Busch. The work picked up a few awards along the way (One Show, Communication Arts, Cannes Short List, Clio Finalist, Hatch, MediaPost OMMA). More importantly, it all worked for the clients. It wasn’t just for shows.
Eventually I went client-side and joined Aetna, which later became part of CVS Health. There I led a 65-awesome-person creative organization during a period of major brand integration and transformation.
These days I work independently through Brain4Hire from my home in Windham, Vermont, where I live with my partner, two dogs, two cats, and approximately six million trees.
When I’m not working, I’m usually listening to music (Springsteen, Phish and Pantera in equal rotation), But I love all music. At the moment I can't get enough of the new album by GIFT (Illuminator). Other interests include skiing, cooking, walking my beloved dogs, and watching movies (mostly Jaws) frequently.
"But enough of my yakkin’." If you know that film reference, we’re probably going to get along.
